of <h1>Sikkim Withdraws 2017 GST Notification, New Changes Effective February 1, 2019.</h1> The Government of Sikkim has rescinded its previous notification No. 8/2017-State Tax (Rate), dated June 30, 2017, under the Sikkim Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This decision, made in the public interest following the Council's recommendations, will take effect from February 1, 2019. The rescission does not affect actions taken or omitted under the original notification before this date. The announcement was issued by the Secretary of the Commercial Taxes Division, Finance, Revenue & Expenditure Department, and is documented under file number GOS/CTD/2009-2010/16-1C (9) VOL-II.
