Many registrations were canceled due to non-compliance with notice provisions, which were served via email or portal, unfamiliar to some taxpayers. The Order, effective from April 23, 2019, allows affected taxpayers whose registrations were canceled by March 31, 2019, to apply for revocation of cancellation by July 22, 2019. This aims to assist those who could not respond to notices due to unfamiliarity with the new system.
