Service rule amendment removes a specified sub rule from Chairperson and members' terms, effective on Gazette publication. The amendment omits sub rule (2) of rule 3 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson and members) Rules, 2016, under the Government's statutory power to frame terms for Board office holders, and comes into force upon publication in the Official Gazette.
