It mandates both governments to assist each other by sharing relevant tax information for administration and enforcement purposes. The agreement covers all forms of taxes imposed by the central, political subdivisions, or local authorities of both countries. Information exchange is not restricted by the residency of the person involved. The agreement includes provisions for confidentiality, mutual agreement procedures, and allows for termination with a six-month notice. It requires both parties to enact necessary legislation to implement its terms.
