According to the notification, the return for July 2017 was to be filed by August 20, 2017, and the return for August 2017 by September 20, 2017. This directive, issued under the authority of the Tamil Nadu State Goods and Services Tax Rules and Act, is effective from August 8, 2017. The notification was signed by the Commissioner of State Tax in Tamil Nadu.
