of <h1>Tripura Appoints Tax Commissioners as Designated Appellate Authorities for GST Appeals u/s 107 Effective November 2017.</h1> The State Government of Tripura has appointed the Chief Commissioner of State Tax and the Additional Commissioner of State Tax as Designated Appellate Authorities under the Tripura State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. These authorities are empowered to hear appeals filed under section 107 of the Act against orders issued by Adjudicating Authorities. This appointment is effective from November 22, 2017, as per the notification issued by the Finance Department of Tripura.
