of <h1>Maharashtra extends GST statement submission deadline for operators by a week due to technical issues u/s 52(4).</h1> The Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (Second Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2019 addresses issues faced by operators who were unable to register on the GST portal but collected taxes for October to December 2018. Due to these technical difficulties, they could not submit the required statements under section 52(4) of the Maharashtra GST Act, 2017. To resolve this, the deadline for submitting these statements has been extended from January 31, 2019, to February 7, 2019. This order is issued by the Government of Maharashtra under the authority of section 172 of the Maharashtra GST Act, 2017.
