of <h1>Chhattisgarh Extends GST Deadlines: Reporting Period Now Ends December 2018, Final Submission Moved to March 2019.</h1> The Government of Chhattisgarh has issued amendments to a previous notification from the Commercial Tax Department, originally dated September 10, 2018. Under the authority of the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, the amendments extend certain deadlines. Specifically, the period initially specified as 'July 2017 to September 2018' is now extended to 'July 2017 to December 2018,' and the deadline '31st day of December, 2018' is revised to '31st day of March, 2019.' These changes are made on the recommendation of the Council and are issued by the Special Secretary in the name of the Governor of Chhattisgarh.
