of <h1>Chhattisgarh Withdraws 2017 GST Notification; New Rules Effective from February 1, 2019, Per Council's Advice.</h1> The Government of Chhattisgarh has rescinded the notification No. 8/2017-State Tax(Rate), originally issued on June 28, 2017, under the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This decision, made in the public interest and based on the Council's recommendations, nullifies the previous notification except for actions already completed under it. The rescission, detailed in Notification No. 1/2019-State Tax (Rate), will take effect from February 1, 2019.
