of <h1>Chhattisgarh Amends GST Notification to Clarify Tax Exemption Applies Only to Domestic Goods Transport Services.</h1> The Government of Chhattisgarh has issued Notification No. 30/2018-State Tax (Rate) to amend Notification No. 11/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated June 28, 2017. The amendment involves inserting an explanation in the notification to clarify that the provision does not apply to services other than the transport of goods within India. The existing explanation will be renumbered as Explanation 1. This amendment, authorized under the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, will take effect from January 1, 2019. The notification is issued by the Commercial Tax Department in the name of the Governor of Chhattisgarh.
