of <h1>SEBI Corrigendum Corrects Year in Mutual Funds Amendment Regulations from 1996 to 1997; Adds Clarifying Footnote.</h1> A corrigendum issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on August 16, 1997, amends the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Mutual Funds) Amendment Regulations, 1997. It corrects the year in the short title and paragraph 1(i) of the regulations from '1996' to '1997'. Additionally, a footnote is appended to clarify that the principal regulation, SEBI Mutual Funds Regulations, 1996, was published in the Gazette of India on December 9, 1996.
