of <h1>SEBI Renews Recognition of Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange Until 2001 u/s 3 and Rule 7.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has renewed the recognition of the Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange Association Limited, Kanpur, under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956. This renewal, effective from June 3, 1998, to June 2, 2001, is granted after considering the application under Section 3 of the Act and Rule 7 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957. SEBI, exercising its authority under Section 4, determined that this renewal serves both the trade and public interest.
