of <h1>West Bengal Finance Department Sets February 1, 2019, as Start Date for Section 3 of Taxation Laws Amendment Act.</h1> The Government of West Bengal, through its Finance Department, has issued a notification appointing February 1, 2019, as the date when section 3 of the West Bengal Taxation Laws (Amendment) Act, 2018, will come into effect. This enactment excludes clause (b) of sub-section (7), sub-section (16), sub-section (17), and clause (a) of sub-section (19). The notification was authorized by the Governor and communicated by the Additional Secretary to the Government of West Bengal.
