        <h1>Foreign Institutional Investor acquisitions: exclusions for responses to delisting offers and government disinvestment offers clarified.</h1> The amendment excludes sales by a Foreign Institutional Investor made in response to an offer under the Delisting Guidelines, 2003 from the operation of regulation 15(3)(c), and further provides that clause (c) does not apply to bids or acquisitions by a Foreign Institutional Investor in response to an offer for disinvestment of shares by the Central or any State Government.
