of <h1>Karnataka GST Amendment Act 2018 Effective February 1, 2019, Except Specific Sections. Authority: Governor of Karnataka.</h1> The Government of Karnataka has announced that the provisions of the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2018, will come into effect on February 1, 2019. This excludes sub-section (2) of section 8, section 17, section 18, and sub-section (1) of section 20. This decision is made under the authority granted by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Act. The notification is issued by the Finance Department, under the authority of the Governor of Karnataka.
