This extension, effective from July 3, 2005, allows Shri Jai Prakash Verma, IPS (Retd.), to continue as the Administrator, overseeing the Council's powers and duties. The extension aims to facilitate ongoing corrective measures, streamline the Exchange's operations, and complete the election and constitution of a new Council, as well as the processes of corporatisation and demutualisation. Verma may enlist additional assistance as needed to fulfill his responsibilities.
