of <h1>Jharkhand amends GST Notification 2/2017: Updates on vegetables, music, and auction items for charity, effective 2019.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand has amended Notification No. 2/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, effective from January 1, 2019. Changes include the substitution of entries for vegetables, both frozen and provisionally preserved, and the addition of new entries for printed or manuscript music and the auction of gift items received by high-ranking officials where proceeds are used for public or charitable causes. This amendment follows recommendations from the Council and was published in the Gazette of Jharkhand.
