of <h1>Goa Government Extends GST Compliance Period to December 2018; Deadline Now March 2019 u/s 148.</h1> The Government of Goa has amended Notification No. 38/1/2017-Fin(R&C)(69), initially dated 11th September 2018, under the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment modifies the dates in the notification's second proviso. The period originally stated as 'July, 2017 to September, 2018' is now extended to 'July, 2017 to December, 2018,' and the deadline '31st day of December, 2018' is changed to '31st day of March, 2019.' This change is made under the authority granted by section 148 of the Act, following the Council's recommendations.
