of <h1>Bihar Governor Amends Commercial Taxes Notification: Section 51(1) Exceptions Added, Effective December 31, 2018, Under GST Act.</h1> The Governor of Bihar, following the Council's recommendations, has amended the Commercial Taxes Department notification No. S.O.238 dated September 13, 2018, under the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment adds a proviso stating that the notification does not apply to the supply of goods or services between persons specified under certain clauses of section 51(1) of the Act. This amendment is effective from December 31, 2018, as ordered by the Commissioner of State Tax-cum-Secretary.
