of <h1>Bihar GST Act Amended: Changes to Tax Rates on Frozen Vegetables, Music Manuscripts, and Government Auctioned Gifts.</h1> The Governor of Bihar, under the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended Notification No. 2/2017 - State Tax (Rate). Effective January 1, 2019, changes include the substitution of entries for frozen and provisionally preserved vegetables, the addition of music in printed or manuscript form, and the inclusion of gift items auctioned by the government for charitable purposes. These amendments were made following recommendations from the Council and are detailed in Notification No. 25/2018, dated December 31, 2018, issued by the Commercial Tax Department.
