It covers outdoor medical treatment expenses up to INR 50,000 annually and indoor treatment under a Group Mediclaim Policy with a cover of INR 750,000. The Board covers the premium costs, while members pay a non-refundable monthly subscription of INR 1,000. Beneficiaries must choose between this scheme and any other health scheme they are part of, such as CGHS. The scheme is effective from its publication date in the Official Gazette.
