        <h1>SEBI Renews Cochin Stock Exchange Recognition for One Year; Trading Conditional on Guarantee Fund Approval.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has renewed the recognition of Cochin Stock Exchange Ltd. for one year, from November 8, 2007, to November 7, 2008. This decision, made under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956, is deemed beneficial for trade and public interest. The renewal is contingent upon the Exchange commencing trading only after the Settlement Guarantee Fund/Trade Guarantee Fund is operationalized and approved by SEBI.
