of <h1>SEBI Sets April 21, 2008, for Implementing Amendments to Mutual Funds and Foreign Institutional Investors Regulations.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has announced that April 21, 2008, is the specified date for the implementation of amendments to two sets of regulations: the Mutual Funds (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2007, and the Foreign Institutional Investors (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2007. This notification was issued under the authority of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 2 for both sets of amendments. The announcement was made by the SEBI Chairman, and it is documented under notification number LAD-NRO/GN/2008/01/122441, dated April 8, 2008.
