of <h1>SEBI Renews Ludhiana Stock Exchange Recognition for 2008-2009 u/s 4 of Securities Contracts Act.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has renewed the recognition of Ludhiana Stock Exchange Limited under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956. This renewal, effective from April 28, 2008, to April 27, 2009, is deemed beneficial for trade and public interest. The renewal is granted under Section 4 of the Act, subject to any conditions that may be prescribed or imposed in the future. The exchange is located at Feroze Gandhi Market, Ludhiana. The notification was issued by T. C. Nair, a Whole-Time Member of SEBI.
