of <h1>SEBI Renews Bhubaneswar Stock Exchange Recognition for One Year, Pending Approval of Settlement Guarantee Fund.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has renewed the recognition of Bhubaneswar Stock Exchange Limited for one year, from June 5, 2008, to June 4, 2009, under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956. This renewal is contingent upon the stock exchange obtaining final approval from SEBI for establishing a Settlement Guarantee Fund or Trade Guarantee Fund. The decision was made in the interest of trade and public welfare, as per the powers granted by the Act.
