of <h1>India Extends GSTR-7 Filing Deadline for January 2019 to February 28, 2019, Under CGST Act Sections 39 and 51.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance and the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, issued Notification No. 8/2019 on February 8, 2019. This notification extends the deadline for registered persons to submit FORM GSTR-7, related to tax deduction at source, for January 2019. The new deadline is set for February 28, 2019. This extension is authorized under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, specifically referencing sections 39 and 51, and related rules. This notification was later superseded by Notification No. 26/2019 on June 28, 2019.
