of <h1>Tripura Amends GST Notification: Exempts Specific Services for Government Entities from Entry Conditions Effective Jan 2019.</h1> The Government of Tripura has amended Notification No. 13/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Tripura State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective January 1, 2019, the amendment specifies that certain services provided by a goods transport agency, business facilitators, business correspondent agents, and security services are exempt from the entry conditions if provided to government departments, local authorities, or governmental agencies registered solely for tax deduction purposes. Additionally, a new clause states that the notification applies to both the Central and State Governments, including the Parliament and State Legislatures.
