<h1>India Updates SEBI Appeal Rules: Fee Hike to Rs. 5000, New Rule for Order Copies at Rs. 100.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Appeal to the Central Government) Amendment Rules, 1998, were established by the Central Government under the authority of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992. Effective from their publication date, these amendments modify the 1993 rules by increasing the appeal fee from five hundred rupees to five thousand rupees. Additionally, a new rule allows individuals, other than the appellant or the Board, to obtain a copy of an order for a fee of one hundred rupees.
