<h1>SEBI Repeals 2014 Search and Seizure Regulations; New Repeal Regulations, 2015 Effective Immediately Under SEBI Act, Section 30.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) issued a notification on September 17, 2015, announcing the repeal of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Procedure for Search and Seizure) Regulations, 2014. This action was taken under the authority granted by section 30 of the SEBI Act, 1992. The new regulations, titled the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Procedure for Search and Seizure) Repeal Regulations, 2015, took effect upon their publication in the Official Gazette. The notification was authorized by the SEBI Chairman.
