<h1>New Ministry of Corporate Affairs Secretary Appointed as Part-Time SEBI Member Under SEBI Act, 1992.</h1> The Central Government has appointed the Secretary of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs as a Part-Time Member of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). This appointment replaces the former Secretary of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and is effective immediately until further notice. The appointment is made under the authority of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992.
