of <h1>India Adds Port Meadow in Andaman & Nicobar as Customs Port for Imports/Exports u/s 7(a.</h1> The Government of India has amended Notification No. 62/1994-Customs (N.T.) to include Port Meadow in the Union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands as a designated location for unloading imported goods and loading export goods under section 7(a) of the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, adds Port Meadow to the existing list of approved ports, facilitating the handling of various classes of goods. This change is documented in Notification No. 97/2018-Customs (N.T.), dated December 7, 2018.
