of <h1>West Bengal Amends GST Notification: Exemptions for Public Sector Undertakings' Transactions Effective October 1, 2018.</h1> The Government of West Bengal has issued an amendment to Notification No. 1344-F.T. dated September 13, 2018, under the West Bengal Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 1, 2018, the amendment specifies that the provisions of the original notification will not apply to the supply of goods or services between public sector undertakings, regardless of whether they are distinct entities. This change was made on the recommendation of the Council and is formalized by the order of the Governor.
