of <h1>Jharkhand GST Amendment Excludes Certain Defence Authorities from Notification No. 50/2018; Effective October 1, 2018.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand, under the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended Notification No. 50/2018-State Tax dated 26th September 2018. Effective from 1st October 2018, the amendment specifies that the provisions of the notification do not apply to certain authorities under the Ministry of Defence, except those listed in Annexure-A. The annexure details various Controllers and Principal Controllers of Defence Accounts, each assigned a specific code number, across different locations in India. This amendment was issued by the Commercial Taxes Department on 6th November 2018.
