of <h1>Himachal Pradesh amends GST Notification to exclude public sector undertakings' transactions from certain tax provisions.</h1> The Government of Himachal Pradesh has amended Notification No. 50/2018-State Tax, initially issued on September 17, 2018, under the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 1, 2018, the amendment specifies that the notification does not apply to the supply of goods or services between public sector undertakings, regardless of whether they are distinct entities. This change was made following recommendations from the Council and is documented in Notification No. 61/2018-State Tax, dated November 5, 2018.
