of <h1>Appellate Tribunal Set in New Delhi for Benami Property Cases u/s 30 of 1988 Act.</h1> The Central Government has established an Appellate Tribunal in New Delhi under the Prohibition of Benami Property Transactions Act, 1988. This tribunal is empowered to hear appeals against the orders issued by the Adjudicating Authority as per the Act. The establishment of this tribunal is authorized by section 30 of the Act and is formalized through Notification No. 81/2018 issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue. The notification becomes effective upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
