The exemption applies to various handicraft items, including handcrafted candles, handbags, carved wood products, wooden frames, statuettes, art ware of cork, mats, handmade carpets, handmade lace, and more. The rates range from 1.5% to 6%, depending on the item. This notification, effective from July 27, 2018, aims to support the handicraft industry by reducing the tax burden on these goods, enhancing their market competitiveness.
