of <h1>India Raises Customs Duty on Goods Under Heading 2710 19 20 from 0% to 5% Effective September 2018.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 70/2018-Customs, amending Notification No. 52/2017-Customs dated 30th June 2017. This amendment, effective from 27th September 2018, changes the customs duty on goods under heading 2710 19 20 from nil to 5%. This adjustment is made under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, and is published in the Gazette of India.
