of <h1>India Delays Retaliatory Duties Implementation to November 2, 2018, Amending Customs Notification No. 50/2017.</h1> The Government of India, through Notification No. 62/2018-Customs dated 17th September 2018, has amended Notification No. 50/2017-Customs, originally dated 30th June 2017. This amendment changes the date in the third proviso from '18th September 2018' to '2nd November 2018,' thereby delaying the implementation of retaliatory duties. This decision, made under the Customs Act, 1962, and the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, is deemed necessary in the public interest. The amendment was published in the Gazette of India and is administered by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
