of <h1>National Hydroelectric Power Corporation's 9.25% Tax-Free Bonds Specified Under Section 10(15)(iv)(h) of Income-tax Act</h1> The Central Government has specified 9.25% per annum tax-free Secured Redeemable Non-Convertible Bonds issued by the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited under section 10(15)(iv)(h) of the Income-tax Act, 1961. These bonds, identified as J-series, have distinctive numbers ranging from 100000001 to 101000000 and total an amount of Rs. 100 crores, each valued at Rs. 1000. The tax-free benefit is available only if the bondholder registers their name and holding with the corporation. This specification is detailed in Notification No. S.O.529(E), dated June 14, 1995.
