of <h1>Jharkhand GST Act 2017 Amended: New Tax Rates for Sal Leaves, Broomsticks, Sanitary Napkins, and More Effective July 27, 2018.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand, under the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended Notification No. 2/2017-State Tax (Rate) from June 29, 2017. The amendments include the addition and substitution of several items in the tax schedule, such as sal leaves, vegetable materials for broomsticks, de-oiled rice bran, goods made from natural leaves, deities made of stone, rupee notes, coir pith compost, sanitary napkins, and rakhi. These changes will be effective from July 27, 2018, as per the order by the Additional Chief Secretary.
