of <h1>Punjab Amends GST Notification No. S.O.55 u/r 96A; Effective Retroactively from July 7, 2017.</h1> The Government of Punjab's Department of Excise and Taxation has amended Notification No. S.O.55/P.G.S.T.R./2017/R.96A/2017, dated 25th September 2017. The amendment, effective from 7th July 2017, is made under the authority of sub-rule (5) of rule 96A of the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. This change is authorized by the Governor of Punjab and communicated by the Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner (Taxation) of the Department.
