of <h1>Chhattisgarh Amends GST Notification: New Exemptions on Sal Leaves, Sabai Grass, De-oiled Rice Bran, and More.</h1> The Government of Chhattisgarh has amended Notification No. 2/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from July 27, 2018, the amendments include the addition of new items such as sal leaves, siali leaves, sisal leaves, sabai grass, and vegetable materials for broom manufacturing. Exemptions are specified for de-oiled rice bran, deities made of stone, marble or wood, and goods made from certain leaves and grass. The notification also covers rupee notes sold to RBI or the government, coir pith compost, sanitary products, and non-precious Rakhi.
