of <h1>Assam Extends GST Deadline from June 30, 2018, to September 30, 2018, Effective Retroactively from June 29, 2018.</h1> The Government of Assam, through its Finance (Taxation) Department, has amended its previous notification regarding the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, authorized by the Governor of Assam, changes the deadline from '30th day of June, 2018' to '30th day of September, 2018.' This modification, made in the public interest on the recommendation of the Council, is retroactively effective from June 29, 2018. The notification was issued by the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, Finance Department.
