of <h1>Tamil Nadu extends GST deadline from June 30, 2018, to September 30, 2018, u/s 11(1) amendment.</h1> The Tamil Nadu Government has issued an amendment to the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department Notification No.II(2)/CTR/532(d-11)/2017, originally published on 29th June 2017. This amendment, authorized by the Governor under Section 11(1) of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, extends a previously set date. The deadline mentioned in the original notification as '30th day of June, 2018' is now revised to '30th day of September, 2018.' This change is made in the interest of the public and based on recommendations from the Council.
