of <h1>Madhya Pradesh Tax Dept Corrects 2018 Notification: Officials Must Be Joint Commissioner Rank or Higher.</h1> A corrigendum has been issued for a previous notification dated 16th February 2018 by the Commercial Tax Department of Madhya Pradesh. The correction pertains to the designation of officials in a table on page 237. The revised text specifies that positions should be held by individuals not below the rank of Joint Commissioner. This applies to both the Joint Commissioner of State Tax, nominated by the Commissioner of State Tax, and the Joint Commissioner of Central Tax, nominated by the Chief Commissioner of Central Tax (CGST), Customs & Central Excise, Bhopal Zone. The order is issued in the name of the Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
