of <h1>Himachal Pradesh GST Act: Officers Reappointed from VAT Act, 2005 with No Pay Scale Changes; Supersedes 2017 Notification.</h1> The Governor of Himachal Pradesh, under the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has appointed officers previously designated under the Himachal Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005, to equivalent positions under the new GST framework. The appointments include roles such as Commissioner of State Taxes and Excise, Additional Commissioner of State Taxes and Excise, and others, with corresponding designations. There is no change in the pay scales for these officers despite the new designations. The notification supersedes a previous one dated June 30, 2017.
