of <h1>Goa GST Rules Amended: 'Director General of Safeguards' Replaced with 'Director General of Anti-profiteering' in Key Sections.</h1> The Government of Goa has issued the Goa Goods and Services Tax (Seventh Amendment) Rules, 2018, under the authority granted by section 164 of the Goa Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from June 12, 2018, the amendment involves replacing the term 'Director General of Safeguards' with 'Director General of Anti-profiteering' in rules 129, 130, 131, 132, and 133 of the Goa Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. This change is officially ordered by the Under Secretary of Finance in the name of the Governor of Goa.
