of <h1>Assam Establishes Authority for Advance Ruling Under GST Act 2017 with Two-Member Panel for Tax Guidance.</h1> The Government of Assam, through the Finance (Taxation) Department, has established the Assam Authority for Advance Ruling under the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This authority comprises two members: an Additional Commissioner from GST, CBEC, Guwahati, and a Joint Commissioner of State Tax, Assam. The notification, authorized by the Governor of Assam, will be effective from the date it is published in the Official Gazette.
