of <h1>Chhattisgarh Designates NACIN to Conduct Exams for GST Practitioners u/s 48, Rule 83 of GST Act.</h1> The Government of Chhattisgarh, through Notification No. 24/2018-STATE TAX dated May 28, 2018, has designated the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, as the authority to conduct examinations for GST practitioners. This is in accordance with section 48 of the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and sub-rule (3) of rule 83 of the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, following the recommendations of the Council.
