of <h1>Tamil Nadu Designates National Academy to Conduct GST Practitioner Exams u/s 48 and Rule 83.</h1> The Government of Tamil Nadu, through its Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, issued Notification No. 07/2018, dated May 25, 2018. Under the authority of section 48 of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and rule 83 of the Tamil Nadu GST Rules, 2017, the Commissioner, following the Council's recommendations, designates the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, as the official body to conduct examinations for GST practitioners in Tamil Nadu.
